I think everyone is familiar with the Led Zepplin classic Stairway to Heaven. It came out on Led Zepplin IV, which also featured the magnificent blues “When the Levee Breaks”, one of my favourite Led Zepplin tracks and a re-arrangement of an older song.

There have been many parodies of the song, many serious versions and a reference to “no Stairway to Heaven” in the original Wayne’s World film. This page looks at some of the serious and not so serious versions.

This is another test, and hopefully I’m not doing the “new blogger, blogs about absolutely anything” thing. But I’m still playing with what works in a blog and what doesn’t; plus whether I’m adding any value to the great toilet wall that is the internet.
