I am in contact with a descendant of James O’Shannessy, Ellen’s brother, who resides in W.A. She is doing her side of the O’Shannessy family and I will give you her details if you are interested.
I am just starting to investigate the history of the Gallaghers. My great grandfather and great grandmother, George and Elizabeth and my grandfather Arthur and his nine siblings were borne in Mildura and lived at Gallaghers Lane in the centre of Mildura. Any information or tips you have to start me on my journey I would be grateful for.
