General Notes	This is a generic (aka "Shield") cover, the PMG produced the cacheted envelopes and post offices or collectors affixed stamps. There are a number of colour combinations of the shield patterns; solid or hollow, grey, dark grey, fawn or brown. These were blank envelopes and any combination of stamps may be found on them.
