We did the famed Beartooth and Chief Joseph Hwys - two of the best motorcycling roads in North America. It was a day of twisting roads, amazing views, lots of photos and throwing the Harley into corners. Beartooth Pass itself is a shade over 3,300m, the highest road I’ve ridden/driven on (last was Tioga Pass at Yosemite which is just over 3,000m).
Give me mountains, views, twisty roads and some nice weather and I’m happy. I reckon today was as good, if not better, than the Icefields Parkway.
We had lunch in the hotel built by Buffalo Bill Cody, in Cody. Tonight we’re going to a rodeo - yee ha
