Late in 2015 I was asked to help a customer engagement in Denver Colorado. I'd never been to Colorado and took the tailing weekend to get up into the mountains and the snow. A good work friend lives in Colorado Springs and advised me to follow Hwy 24 through the mountains to Vale and then back. What an amazing drive - most of it higher than the highest mountains in Australia and one of the best drives I've ever done. The following day I went up to Boulder (home of Mork) and a canyon drive near there. More spectacular country.
