Before a work conference in Las Vegas in 2020, I took a personal side trip up to southern Utah. For a long time I'd wanted to visit both Zion and Bryce National Parks and this trip gave me the opportunity. I stayed in Springdale just outside the park boundaries and as it was Feb it was off-season and quiet. I had thought Red Rock Canyon outside of Vegas was impressive, Zion is two orders of magnitude better. I managed to get three 1-2 hour walks in on my first day there. Then on my last day, I visited the Kolob Canyons part of the park (the lesser-visited park).
