>p>I had a string of training weeks back to back (Orlando, New Orleans, Raleigh, Orlando then Washington) and I decided to make a road trip out of the NO - Orlando part with two weekends of driving. This was the second part.
Leaving the previous nights stop of Birmingham Alabama, I headed up to Lynchburg (Tennessee) and the famous Jack Daniels distillery. I did the extended tour with tastings and it was well worth it. One of the best distillery tours I've done with a great guide and a very immersive experience (that smell coming out of vats was incredible). From there it was across to Chattanooga to the Civil War sites there for a few hours of exploring. Then through the Smoky Mountains to Asheville for the night. The next day I drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway almost to Virginia then down to Raleigh to begin my working week.
